Baby Einstein video leave kids with less…

Thursday, November 19, 2009 13:39

According to a well known Pediatric magazine the popular children’s video “Baby Einstein” not only doesn’t work but researchers are showing that the videos may decrease vocabulary.  The professors at the University of Washington found that with as little as one hour of viewing the children lost 6-8 words.

When the study was released Disney executives demanded that the press release be retracted, the professors have not retracted their press release and have stood by it. Since that moment Disney has been offering refunds for the videos.

It’s funny to think that they named their language videos “Baby Einstein” when the real Einstein did not speak until he was 4.
